After breakfast you will be transferred by your guide to the pier on Lake Victoria off Entebbe town. From here you will take a boat ride to Ngamba Island. Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary is found 23 Kilometers off shore from Entebbe on Lake Victoria. It is located on a beautiful forested Island and is home to approximately 40 Chimpanzees rescued from poachers and other forms of private captivity. At the Islands you will view the Chimpanzee and participate in feeding them as well as taking records.
After breakfast you will have a forest walk on the Island where you will be able to spot birds and some monkeys. You will again take part in caring for the orphaned Chimps and have a wonderful experience with the playful Chimpanzees. These closest ancestors of man can climb on you, pull your hair, or just walk along holding your hand! It’s really a fascinating experience!
Today you will take a boat back to the main land where you will meet your guide who will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
